"In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed." Kahlil Gibran

sometimes playing is as good as praying

There's nothing like a fun day to put a little life back into a body. Today was an especially good day.

Got the hair cut...well, actually, I got em all cut. Not that there's much to work with there but I hate it when it gets shaggy around the ears.

I went shopping and bought myself a new denim jacket and a couple of pair of white pants...bargain prices at Penny's thank you very much.

Came home, stuck a nice lean roast beef in the oven for supper, put my favorite Eagles album on the CD player, turned up the volume full blast and whipped through the household chores.

I'm happy that Taylor is still on American Idol...hope he wins.

I'm happy that the hippies won the Amazing Race.

I'm pissed that Terry didn't win Survivor. Two out of three ain't bad.

Tonight I will be anxious to see who wins the American Inventor. Do you get the idea I'm a reality tv junkie?!

Tomorrow I'm gonna call my neighbor and see if she's in the mood to go clunking around the second hand shops...not that I need anything...I just like to browse around. So does she...and then maybe lunch at that good Mexican place we both like so much.

Anyway...things are looking up and so am I. Its true, sometimes playing works as well as praying.
