Auuuuughhh! We got a phone call late last night. Buford managed to escape from his new home.

We have driven all around the area trying to find him but no luck so far.

We've called "lost dog" ads into the local radio station hoping someone will spot him. He still has his collar and tags on, so our phone number is on the tags and available if anyone finds him.

We're all sitting here, feeling guilty and wiping away the tears.

I'm hoping he has the instinct to find his way back here...when and if he does, he will never go away again!
