Eternity with Valium
Previous Entry :: Next Entry

"Vronsky has several times already, though not so resolutely as now, tried to bring her to consider their position, and every time he had been confronted by the same superficiality and triviliaty with which she met his appeal now. It was as though there were something in this which she could not or would not face, as though directly she began to speak of this, she, the real Anna, retreated somehow into herself, and another strang and unnacountable woman came out, whom he did not love, and whow he feared, and who was in opposition to him. But to-day he was resolved to have it out."
Anna Karenina - Tolstoy

Friday. Woke up later than I should have. I had a couple of Valiums and left to the library in order to study some math because I had a test at night. I sucked at it but I might not be in trouble because I was really good at the first one. After that I accidently met Isabela and Danielle on the street so we went out to eat at McDonald's (no comments) then we sat and had some beers. I obviously pay everything. It sucks when your friends have no money.

After that we went to Dani's place and I kissed her and her kiss was decent but did not match exactly with mine. I also kissed Isabela and the same happened. She's been wanting to kiss me for ages but come on, I'm gay and I won't have a boner kissing a girl. But you could say the thing was "hot".

Back home, I had to shower and dress up really quick so I could go to Priscilla's birthday at Shenanigan's so I had a couple more Valiums and dressed fashionably. Oh I was hot. It took a while to get to Barra but I ended up there anyway, had a couple of scotch (black label) and chatted with some people there and I treated that whore Carol nicely. That whore lost my 1500 bucks cellphone so now because of her I'll have to buy another one. Whatever.

Shenanigan's at Barra is not so cool so I had the quiz prize from Lord Jim that I won all alone and I invited Wanessa and Thiago to go with me and it was really fun, they are very nice. We drank like shit and paid like 9 bucks because I was using my quiz prize. We were hungry after that but Thiago heard of some rave or something like that and wanted to go but in the end we went to Belmonte at Flamengo and had some sandwiches. Then they went home, I caught the bus and came back home.

Saturday.

Woke up. Valium. I wasn't planning to do anything but the day was beautiful so I decided to go to the beach. I spent a couple of hours there and there is an international movie festival going on. I thought of staying there to watch some childish movie but I decided to do that tomorrow. Wake up a little earlier, go to the beach and maybe re-watch Howl's Moving Castle, which, by the way, I love.

Now tomorrow I'll see if I get Flavinha to go out with me so we can talk about our translation enterprise but I think she will not go because whenever I ask her to go out she denies it. But even if she doesn't want to go I will get some tan and then re-watch Howl's. All alone, as usual.

Now I'm gonna calculate my expenses for September. I spent too much. I have now three credit cards and two bank accounts so you can imagine. I really need money and I'm trying to find something to do but the guy from the hostel never calls me. What-fuckin-ever.

Now, with this Bon Jovi lame cd playing I'll eat some cheese breads and maybe keep reading Anna Karenina because I just had 40 miligrams of Valium.

That's it. Just another weekend. Hopefully this month I'll be able to work more for the Somar Movement and help more people. Let's just see what happens.

May the Force be with you.
