2006-03-17 8:01 AM Top 5: Romantic Movies of our Recent Time Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (0) A good romantic movie must be, well, romantic. Preferrably showing strong, powerful love between two or more characters. Love is universal and any romantic situation should be suitable for every little living human being. Starting from this point, simply put, this is my top 5 favorite romance movies. It's important to clarify that these are not necessarily my FAVORITE movies, but the ones I find more romantic, beautiful tales of transcendence, and their main subject is simply love.

No strings attached. What neither of them counts on is falling in love. (Warner Brothers) GENRE: Romance WRITTEN BY: Kurt Voelker (also story) Paul Yurick (story) Herman Raucher (1968 screenplay) DIRECTED BY: Pat O'Connor RELEASE DATE: February 16, 2001 RUNNING TIME: 120 minutes, Color ORIGIN: USA Overall critics score: One quote to define this movie: Nelson Moss: Why a month? Sara: Because it's long enough to be meaningful, but short enough to stay out of trouble. Neither a masterpiece nor a remake of one, but its wistfulness is infectious, and its melancholy mood lingers for days. 3 - Brokeback Mountain Tagline: Love Is A Force Of Nature.
