The question posed by a colleague to his high school chemistry class was: Heavy metals are toxic because...? On this multiple choice test, one of the options was "they are satiated eclectic compounds." One-fourth of the class picked that as the correct answer.

So, apparently one-fourth of high school chemistry students think heavy metals are toxic because they are satisfied and weird. A geek like me thinks there is a warning in this story. I'm just not sure what it's saying.
