Or, at least, not much I feel like saying at the moment. I have a couple of student-related rants that will probably appear later this week, but they don't seem very appropriate at the moment. I've been in kind of a weird mood. I think it's the whole Daniel Pearl thing. You know, the WSJ reporter who was murdered by his captors. I feel such empathy for him and his family. I've always been afraid of dying in absolute terror. (Ignoring the whole fear of dying to begin with, but that's a separate issue.) If we have to die, we should be surrounded by people we care about, cradled in someone's arms, telling someone we love them. Not like what happened to him, ya know? Sad.
