On Friday, a pneumatic tube took my money. All part of a new pseudo-remote banking system at the credit union on the ASU campus. I went up to a TV screen where I contacted a teller in a room, I dunno, above or below where I was standing. I put a check and deposit slip in a clear container, set it in a nook, and FOOP!, it disappeared. A few minutes later, another FOOP! - canister returns with a transaction receipt.

It was the most bizarre banking transaction ever, but that's what I get for banking at a university. Felt very Star Trek-ish.
