I have meteorites on loan from ASU. It always makes me so happy to have meteorites to play with. And to show to my students, of course. On another rock-related note, I was waylaid by ASU's geology club this week and forced to buy a piece of banded fluorite. All I wanted to do was hold office hours, but they just had to tempt me with pretty rocks.

(On a side note, I love the internet. I enjoy the fact that I just posted a link to an image on the website of the Mineralogy Club of Antwerp, Belgium.)

I've been enjoying a lazy weekend. The past few weekends, Greg and I have stayed home and just rested. This semester has been tiring me out, and I slept TWELVE hours last night! I still want to see the new Harry Potter movie, but we couldn't even work up the motivation to do that. Maybe next weekend.
