Now that Thanksgiving has passed, the Holiday shopping season is in full swing. Here come the TV ads that tell us what we must buy for our friends and family. My favorite is the Lexus ad, where various people surprise their loved ones with the gift of a luxury sedan. Some of the gifting occurs during pre-Christmas activities, such as gift-wrapping. Makes you wonder what sort of presents they give to each other on Christmas day, if the Lexus is just a warmup gift.
