One of my students is an airline pilot who flies international flights. He's been called up to duty for the seemingly unavoidable war as part of the Civil Reserve Air Fleet. Until today, I didn't know such a thing existed.

So, he has to spend the next couple of weeks sitting in a hotel room waiting to fly planes to Saudi Arabia, "just in case" he's needed. Kinda gives you a picture of the timeline going on being the scenes, huh?
