Greg and I just returned from a trip to San Diego and Los Angeles. A quick recap:

• Met up with Kirsten and Aaron for Comic-Con in San Diego. Saw many friends, many people in costume, comic books too numerous to count, and Ray Bradbury. Walked a lot, sweated a lot in the high humidity, and enjoyed ourselves immensely.
• On the way from San Diego to Los Angeles, Greg and I stopped at Cabrillo National Monument and observed little crabs and mussels in the tidepools. We also stopped off at Pedro's Tacos in San Clemente, which is a local surfer hangout and has great food.
• Our Los Angeles trips often are easiest described by food - Indian with Brian and Amy, Indonesian with Greg's parents, the promised tapas with Kirsten and Aaron, and the best blueberry muffin ever! Actually individual blueberry sour cream coffeecakes at Clementine in Century City. Mmmm...
• Not to mention strolls in Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City...a good, but tiring time.
