I can't believe it's the middle of August already. Of course, I was away for most of the first two weeks. Greg and I took a lovely tour of the Southwest - Flagstaff, Santa Fe, Taos, Pie Town... I was disappointed that we never came across a Cake Town. The scenery was beautiful and I enjoyed having Greg all to myself for that time.

Now, after a mostly languid summer, I am back at work. This week, I am participating in a workshop going through new calculus-based physics labs. It's mostly been enjoyable, but all of us were getting a little testy today. I think it means that we have to get to an experiment where we blow something up soon.
