I share an office at ASU with my long-time friend and colleague Carl. He has to put up with students looking for me all the time while I'm at my full-time job at Mesa Community College. Today, Carl was having a discussion with his grader when a person walks into the office without knocking or announcing their presence and places a note on my desk. Carl, rightfully irked, yells at the young man and forces him to go back out into the hall, knock on the door, and ask permission to leave the note. Carl rocks.

Turns out that it was one of my new TAs. Ha ha! He still deserved it.
