At work, I sit in the dark with only a desk lamp and computer monitor to light my windowless office. There are skylights out in the hall, so that we don't need to use electricity in the corridor here in sunny Arizona. On days like today, when it is raining, I can hear the rain on the skylights. The pleasant patter combines with the low murmurs of my physics students working on homework just outside my open door. I feel cozy - if I had cocoa and fresh-baked cookies, it would be better. Wait...there are fresh-baked cookies at home, a gift from Mom. And later, there will be a 15-minute neck massage from the lady who travels around to all of the community colleges every week. Looking forward to a nice evening with Greg to wrap up a day that's been pretty good so far.
