On Sunday, when my mother called to pass along birthday greetings to Greg, she said that I didn't have to call her for our weekly Wednesday night phone call. I didn't think anything of it until I realized the Sacramento Kings were playing the Houston Rockets on ESPN tonight. That woman...I'm on to her crafty ways. I should have called her right at the end of the game.

By the way, this isn't the first time she's picked the Kings over me. Of course, I used to tell her not to call during Star Trek. Hmm... And she better not pick up the phone during the Super Bowl.

I came home tonight to find Greg making a lovely vegetable stirfry. He even put mushrooms in it! Yummy! It was perfect. I needed something healthy since, on one of the few days I didn't pack a lunch for work, there was a build-your-own burrito station in the cafeteria. My vision of heaven would include a build-your-own burrito station, right next to the build-your-own ice cream sundae station
