Many thanks to Jenn for designing new color schemes for Journalscape! I immediately was drawn to this new color scheme, called "Dark Crystal". I figured it was just my usual inclinations (I wear black on the outside, 'cause black is how I feel on the inside), but later this afternoon I realized the similarity to the Sacramento Kings' colors.

Ah, it's NBA playoff time again. Kings won today! I was a bit concerned - the Mavericks match up really well with the Kings, and the Kings haven't been playing well since C-Webb returned. Peja has had an outstanding year, and Brad Miller was an amazing off-season acquisition. My major concerns are that Bobby Jackson is still suffering from an abdominal strain and that Chris Webber is not back to 100 percent after his injury, surgery, and suspension. (My mother still has her C-Webb doll on "time-out" in the corner of the living room - she is such a nutty woman!)

And...and...the next game is scheduled for Tuesday night while I'm teaching an astronomy lab!!!!! Wails...rends garments... I'll have to use one of the computers to stream the score during class. I'll try to hold back any profanity, though. I wouldn't want the students to lose respect for me. Oh wait...it's near the end of the semester - that respect is already gone. I've got nothing to lose!
