I finished lab tonight to find this email from one of my TAs awaiting my attention:

Lisa, what should be done about students who come to class drunk? I know there was at least one kid tonight that could have removed the paint from the walls. Mellisa said she has a few who have been coming to class in the same condition.

Now, I know that ASU is surrounded by bars with good happy hours and that these are night-time astronomy labs, but is it too much to ask that the students be sober in class?
