I do not recommend grading while listening to "The Downward Spiral" (Nine Inch Nails). Bad idea. Very bad idea. I made that mistake this afternoon and ending up fleeing to Starbucks, to sweeten my mood with a double chocolate chip creme frappucino. The students fared somewhat better after that.
