On the "Lunar Phases" lab, I ask a question to determine if the students think there is a permanent "dark side" of the Moon that can never be seen from the Earth (as opposed to the correct "far side"). Here is an answer I received:

No (good so far), because the "dark side" was founded by man and the craters and such found have been created by man.

Hmm...I did not give any credit for that answer.

Is it too early in the semester to tear out all my hair? Or to get sued?
