Let's see...I've spent much of the time since my last entry grading, so I won't bore you with the details.

The student who attempted suicide was back in class tonight. I wasn't quite certain how to act, so I treated him normally. He seemed anxious, poor thing, but in good spirits. I hope he is truly on the mend.

A former student dropped by my office hours and gave me a hug and kiss on the cheek. D'aww...

The student who made fudge last week gave me homemade salsa today. Mmm...it's yummy.

One of my lecture classes thinks it's funny to try to make me blush. It's embarrassing. One student says some things that are mostly innocuous, but sound wrong, and I'll blush! Argh! They found it very entertaining that I got all enthusiastic about possible asteroid collisions with the Earth. They laughed at me when I threatened to be mean while grading. Laughed! I told them that I could be mean if I wanted, and they laughed more.

Nobody fears me.
