I became a great-aunt yesterday. My youngest niece gave birth to a little boy, 7 lbs 8 oz. Hunter Elliot. Nobody has sent me images yet, but I've been assured he's adorable. I hope that mother and son continue to do well!

Much as I find it odd that I'm a great-aunt at the age of 34, It disturbs me more that my brother is a grandfather. The term grandfather conjures up the image of a gray-haired wise gentleman. So not my brother, especially the wise part. ;)

Anyways, send happy thoughts to my niece, her boyfriend, and their new son!
