They don't offer 'Excel' and 'Word' as free programs with their operating systems.
Let's face it, unless it's a high end peice of software, people expect free stuff these days. The internet provides many legitimate means to this end.
I am using Google Docs instead of Excel for my spreadsheet and now have no reason to go back to using the Microsoft product.
