Realist: I have seemingly endless amounts of information and research showing that Global Warming is cyclical, and that a warmer Earth than we have now would even be a good thing for our planet. It also shows conclusively that Al Gore's graph indicates that the earth's temperature rises much earlier than the level of CO2 rises...sometimes as early as 800 years.

After seeing the great amount of research and evidence showing that Global Warming is *not* man made, and has nothing to do with Carbon footprints, I can understand why Gore was so eager to declare the debate OVER. For if he left things open too long, then the real science would surface showing him to be the charlatan that he is.

You have to give him credit for his business sense. He did make a ton of money from the tours and stands to make a lot more in profits from the companies he's invested in (that depend on the idea of man made global warming to succeed).

Freeist: Your points are all fair of course but what impact is happening on the environment when all the carbon that has been resting inside it is released into the atmosphere at precisely the same moment it's forests and wildlife which have always stood to absorb it is disappearing? The "carbon footprint" idea is about more than "carbon" but about impact. The fact is, we are digging up what has always existed while simultaneously dumping garbage (like carbon) right back in to it as if were a landfill. That is what Climate Change is about. You don't need science to tell you that. Not to mention that the climate is changing so what is wrong with connecting the whole of that into an idea called "Climate Change". Man, science will tell you anything don't you know that?

And how unwise to think that it's just a mere coincidence that all this shit is happening at the same time that the earth is as industrialized and populated as we are. "Climate Change isn't man made". You may as well be saying the forests cut themselves down.

Climate change is more an acceptance of responsibility than an idea to discredit
