2004-10-18 10:45 AM poetry question and about the coming week I just posted a poem by Billy Collins, which you can read in the previous entry. This is my question: is Mr. Collins going to come and sue me for posting his work online? ;)
It's a lovely fall day. The leaves are gorgeous, and when the sun shines through the brilliant red leaves my heart practically stops. I'm sitting here with cinnamon toast (round II -- Avadore claimed round I) and tea. There is writing to do today, and I am prepared. Today needs to be a good, productive day; the rest of the week is already lost. Tuesday I go to the OB for my first official appointment. I hate this one the most. This is the one where they look for the heartbeat. In the past, at this visit, my baby hasn't always had a heartbeat, which leads to other things, like D&C's. Depending on whether there's a heartbeat or not will determine the rest of the week. Since there will be a heartbeat (since I won't think of it any other way for the rest of the day and tomorrow), I will continue with my regular schedule. After my appointment on Tuesday I have class, then naptime, then preparing for dinner, and so on. Wednesday is fairly free so far, though I may go and visit family. Thursday is class and preparation for the weekend. Friday is a wedding, luncheon, reception, etc. And so on. Groceries must also be bought today since we are running dangerously low on such necessities as milk, yogurt and blueberries. Cinnamon toast rocks.
