2005-04-18 10:35 AM weekend That's right. I'm still here :).
I went to visit my parents yesterday and ended up staying the night. I just got home a couple hours ago. It was a wonderful visit. I haven't seen my parents for a little bit, and I was really missing them and they were missing me. My mom (well, step-mother) even went so far as to make fried chicken. She makes the best fried chicken. While there, they gave me a baby book for the soon to be new kid and a huge, beautiful new stainless steel electric skillet. (Which was very fortunate since mine just died.) Mom said it would be important to have a nice big one because boys eat so much :). (She had five boys of her own.) I also got to spend a couple of hours with my grandmother. I love her so much. She gave me this book from the '20's. It's a book she's told me about all through the years, but I'd never seen it. She recently re-read it and figured she'd never read it again so she let me have it. I can't remember the name of the book off the top of my head, so I'll have to talk about the book later when I read it. Lots of other things up in the air. We scheduled the C-section around my brother's and Rice's parents' schedules so they could watch Avadore. My brother just informed us that his employer is doing inventory the night of the C-section and he may not be able to get out of it. We may be scrambling to rearrange schedules. This could get interesting. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
