2005-04-20 10:00 PM mmmmm.... So I just finished putting together three pans of manicotti and one lasagne. One of the pans of manicotti was for dinner. The rest is for freezing for future post-birth eating.
The manicotti was really, really good. I let the sauce simmer for two days and then spent a few hours today making gluten-free pasta. The amount of time letting the sauce simmer may be excessive and unnecessary, but it really made the house smell good. (Sigh). The doc visit went well today. The paperwork is signed, instructions have been given, description of what will be done has been discussed. Now all I have to do is pack a bag, wait, and show up. Oh, and cook more to freeze and the other usual stuff. I'm still not over my ice cream craving, and now chocolate has been added... If I didn't know better, I'd wonder if this wasn't a girl.
