2005-05-05 4:44 PM the fat pants and the little dude Home for a quick couple hours.
William's (from now on known as "The Little Dude" or "LD") first doc appointment was today, so we're in town for a few hours before heading back north for a few days. Things are going well. I'm feeling great (YAY drugs!), the baby's feeling great, Avadore absolutely adores The Little Dude (he's constantly trying to play with him, kiss him, hug him, giving him blankets and toys...), and things are going well. For now. We'll see how things go once we're home with all of us once and for all. (Avadore stayed with Grandma and Grandpa this afternoon.) So I went north with my pregnancy clothes which have progressively gotten larger and larger and baggy. I came home, dug out the fat pants and low and behold (drum roll here) ... they fit. They're a little snug in terms of the C-section incision, so I've moved over to Rice's jeans for a bit, but I'm very happy that they fit. Give me a while (several months perhaps) and my skinny pants may even fit again. In terms of my shirts? Yeah, it's going to be at least a year for those. I mean, I've gone up two cup sizes and that so impacts one's t-shirt wearability. Lots of stories to tell, lots of laughs to share, but in the meantime, if you want picturs, someone is going to have to tell me how to do that; I have no clue myself.
