2005-06-07 8:37 PM when looking off into space is working I spent a couple hours this morning looking off into space. I was also feeding LD and doing stuff around the house at the time, but I was also thinking about the new paperdoll novel. After thinking and putting the kids down for a nap, I wrote ten pages of notes, scenes, etc. It was a good, productive day. It feels good to get some good writing in even though none of it has an actual word count or anything. Wordcount, meh -- even the thinking is all writing in the end, it's just not the actual physical writing. And frankly, I think that's okay. Good productive thinking leads to good productive writing.
Let's hope tomorrow goes as well. Tomorrow is also my six week appointment with my OBGYN. Frankly, I'd rather stay home and be with the kids and write. But no, I get to see how things are coming together after LD's birth and what sort of birth control I want to use so there's no more wee ones in the near future and other such exciting things. So, what do you all think of the concept of philosophical speculative fiction? Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
