2005-08-30 4:05 PM a thought I've run into a lot of people today who have mentioned that they'd like to donate money to the Red Cross or whoever to help with the damage caused by Katrina, but they have a serious shortage of mon-ay.
That's a sentiment I understand. But what about this -- what if everyone skipped the latte or the soda or the dinner out or the movie or just dug up five bucks and sent it in to the Red Cross or some other organization who is sending aid. Now, on it's own, five bucks isn't a lot necessarily, but if a few hundred people (or more) who are experiencing a shortage of mon-ay sent in their ciggy funds, mocha funds, Snickers funds, etc., well, it would add up.
