2005-09-14 9:42 AM ghost dance Interesting article and ironic, too, since, to a certain extent, this is exactly what part of my most current story is about.
Synchronicity at work? The story is going well. It is now 5,760 words long. It will probably be about 6,500 or so. And then I'll go back and do some cutting. Frankly, I'd love it if it was only about 4,000, but we'll see what happens. I could have finished it last night, but one must occasionally sleep. Particularly when this drat cold is imposing itself on to my body. Rice made me breakfast: chocolate milk and gluten-free Cocoa DinoBites. Certainly a far cry from the orange, boiled egg and herbal tea I would have drunk otherwise... Today: rest, tea, child care, write. Read. Be happy. And get rid of this stupid cold.
