2005-10-18 7:37 PM grateful Took LD for his sweat chloride test today. He didn't sweat. We go back Thursday.
Lots of things to worry about, in my own personal life and in my familys' lives. So, when life looks hard, it's good to go and see what others are up to: Tonight I went and visited with a couple of women. One is almost sixty. She's been my friend since before Avadore was born. She's a kind, thoughtful woman, but has lots of emotional and psychological problems. Things are hard for her, and always have been. I visited with her for about an hour and a half, and then was grateful because I have it so good. I also visited with another woman, who is in her seventies. Her health is poor, and she's caring for her mother who has poor health and some pretty toxic life-long behaviors. I also chatted for a minute with the husband of a friend of mine. He told me how busy she is, and tired, and how they hardly see each other. My great-grandmother used to say that if everyone were to throw their problems on the floor and then chose some to pick up, everyone would pick their own back up. I know that's true for me.
