2006-01-24 8:38 PM five more habits Ondine has also tagged me, saying I'm hers, hers, hers, so here are five more habits from yours truly.
I'm afraid this may turn into everything you've ever wondered about e-gma but was afraid to ask... The Rules: The first player of this game starts with the topic "five weird habits" and people who get tagged need to write an entry about their five weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next five people to be tagged and link to their web journals. 1) I'm one of those annoying people who channel surf when listening to the radio. It keeps me awake and alert while driving and protects me from bad music. 2) I have a set routine for showering. This is why I can plot out a story while showering without ever remembering washing my hair. If it's squeaky, I know it's been cleaned. If I'm combing conditioner through my hair, I know some washing has occurred. Yes, occasionally my brain blips and I wash my hair twice or condition without washing, but overall it works and has since the mid-nineties. 3) I have to take a swig of something liquid before taking pills. Have to. Can't take them dry, can't drink only afterward (though I do drink afterwards), I have to have a swig before hand, too. Otherwise I get sick and gag. A lot. 4) I take on-line quizzes when breastfeeding. 5) I have certain books I read once a year. Some years they do get read more than once. It's been this way for years, though sometimes the books change. For example, when I was a teenager I read Tortilla Flat over and over and over again. I also read Catcher in the Rye many, many times, as well as some of Salinger's other works. Some of Robert Cormier got read a lot, as did Great Expectations and Sherlock Holmes. Now it tends to be things like L'Engle's House Like a Lotus and Orson Scott Card's Lost Boys (even though a lot of his current politics, opinions and books piss me off to no end). More to tag: TheFloridian, Luna, Britzkrieg, Kat, and kspot. If you've already been tagged, say something and I'll find another poor soul to expose five of their habits. And Rice has declined my tag. He says he doesn't go for such things and that he's a wet blanket. And now you know. Read/Post Comments (6) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
