3) What is the one thing you would wish was different about your childhood?

That's another hard one. I like where I am and who I am and I'm afraid that if much of my childhood changed I'd be in a different place. I guess maybe I wish my father had followed his gut instincts in terms of my mother, but then, again, I would be a different person in a different place and that's not necessarily a good thing.

I know -- I wish I knew enough not to listen to my mother and all she said about me, and that, as a result, I'd had more faith in myself early on.
