Avi's class has been doing a whole language unit on teddy bears. They've been singing bear songs, and reading bear books, and counting and sorting Gummy Bears, and reinacting bear stories and fairy tales using flannel boards, etc. To wind it up, the kids all brought their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal to school yesterday and had a picnic. I'm not sure what all was invovled, but I do know there was apple juice and marshmallows.
