Awake. Mostly.

Avadore was up at 4:55 a.m. this morning. No, this was not ideal.

Yes, I did go to bed later than I should have. No, I am not one of those people who do well with five hours of sleep.

In other news, I received the shock of the year when I discovered Peter Jackson make Meet the Feebles.

Yes, that Peter Jackson.

Well, not that suprised. He also made Heavenly Creatures, which I saw as a freshman in college (1994) and just about freaked the everloving bajeezus out of me.

And no, this is not an endorsement for you to see Meet the Feebles, unless you have a much stronger stomach than I. I saw it early on in my grad school career (1999, I believe), and only recently have been able to watch The Muppets again. And I think The Muppets are just pretty darn cool.

And no, considering the lack of sleep I've had, none of this is supposed to make much sense, except I encourage you to love your inner muppet. The world would be a better place if we all did that.
