2006-12-30 12:45 PM another holiday Christmas was nice. I had a good time. I got some good sleep. I saw some lovely people, and then I got sick, and got stuck in downtown Heyburn, Idaho for an extended layover.
I am much better now. During the time I was in bed I think I had all sorts of interesting things to say, but I also had a fever, so that may not be true -- they just seemed interesting at the time. Also, I have forgotten what they were. I'm still a little wonky, so this'll be a short one. It's nice to be home. It's nice to see all of you are well (or seem to be), and that life is marching forward. Today, in lieu of music, a story. This one is for my father, who let me hang out at his house while sick, and offered me aspirin, and a bath, and placed Dylan Thomas' "A Child's Christmas in Whales" and "The Followers" on my bed for when I woke and might feel like reading. The Lone Ranger has always been his favorite. Read/Post Comments (5) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
