2007-02-14 9:51 AM VD day I'm not a big Valentine's Day fan. First of all, like most holidays, I think the concept of commericializing on love is (insert negative words here). Also, why do I have to have a day so you can tell me you love me? I mean, come on? And what about the people who don't have someone to tell them they love them? And there's a lot of them, you know. How do they feel?
Anyway. Yes, some of us are just hard, cold cynics. Still, for your viewing and listening pleasure, I give you what many consider to be one of the greatest love songs of the last century, perhaps ever. (Read in English and in popular culture, here.) And because the '90's was my decade, here's what many consider to be the greatest (and underplayed) love song of that decade. And, finally, my favorite VD song because, well, I have this perverse sense of humor. And also Valentine's Day always sucks. Always. Promise. Better to ignore it and move on. Except for the chocolate part, but only if it's good chocolate. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
