2007-05-07 7:29 AM on the other hand The best nights are the ones where you have a hard time going to sleep, and when you do finally go to sleep, the toddler wakes up, screaming and continues to scream until you finally go and sit with him until he goes back to sleep, and then you go back to bed and have just fallen asleep, again, when he wakes up, again, howling like a wee wereworf going crazy over their first full moon, and so you take care of the wee bugger's needs, just in case, you know, he's dying, which he's not but seems to think he is because, I dunno, maybe he has gas, and then you go back to bed, and back to sleep, and then he wakes again, and this goes on all bloody night until 5:58 when you have to get up at 6:45 to send his brother to school, and the toddler finally looks as if he's really tired and may sleep for a while, and you're looking forward to going back to bed, but then, after his shower at 7:01 the elder brother wakes up the little one because, and I quote, "It's light outside!"
To quote the great Charlie Brown: Ugh. Read/Post Comments (6) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
