2007-07-17 1:28 PM say... I'm really awful at this self-promotion thing. I think it's the introvert in me. I must get over it.
In any event, the fine people over at the critically acclaimed 'zine Say... have published Say... what's the combination?, which they swear is their best issue, evah. (Which, quite frankly, is saying a bloody lot. They do good work.) I haven't received my copy quite yet, but the table of contents alone makes me drool. And it includes a story by me. It has bear sex, so you know it must be good. And because I love you all and we get fairly personal over here, the TOC not only makes me drool, it freaks me out a little bit, too. There are some excellent writers in this TOC1, and I feel like ... a poser? sort of like, "um... how far into the tequila bottle were the editors when they picked my story to be with these others?" You know, the usual self-doubt sort of thoughts most people have ... I hope. 1 As in I can go through almost that entire list of names and tell you some of the cool stuff they've all written. Not necessarily all fiction, e.g. Cheney, but I think you get my point. Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
