2007-08-30 1:15 PM as you've all probably heard by now Idahoans like to tap dance. We enjoy tap dancing so much that we can't help but do it everywhere: in the movie theater, in the lunch line, in the shower... heck, we even do it in the men's room when police officers are in the next stall over.
Pretty entertaining link here. I gotta admit, I'm not sure about this one. I'm sure it's possible the senator was being kinky, or maybe he just has weird bathroom habits. I don't know a lot of the expected behavior for picking up folks in public restrooms. I do know that I don't usually make foot-to-foot contact with others whilst using the public restroom myself, but I am an introvert, after all. By the way, it seems a lot of people are laughing about Craig's comment thanking everyone for "coming out today" when he announced he wasn't gay. I am afraid, my friends, that that is a common Idahoism. "Thanks for coming out to church today." "They haven't been coming out for a while." "Do you want to come out to the park with me?" A very common, and unfortunate, regional phrase. I am sure it's common in Utah, as well. I'd like to thank you all for coming out and reading my blog today. In other news, our Governor (whom I've, er, discussed here before in relation to some of his budget cuts) continues to impress me: " Idaho Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter on Thursday declined to say whether Craig should step down. But he acknowledged the predicament that Craig is in. "He's in a tough spot," Otter told CNN's Dana Bash. "He's going to have to work it out."" Wow. No kidding? Go figure. Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
