2007-10-08 7:28 PM honey bunny On Monday nights, as a general rule, we spend time together as a family. We spend time together at other times too, but Monday is exclusive "us" night.
I baked bread for Rice today, so it was strangely appropriate that Avadore brought home from school some whole wheat flour with instructions on how to bake bread. (Which is not a new concept here, but very thoughtful for those who don't bake a lot of bread, and it's been years since I've made glutenated bread from scratch, and I had never done a lot of it.) So, tonight, we listened to selections1 from the Pulp Fiction soundtrack and baked bread. I told Rice I felt eighteen again. Which includes soundbites from the film. If you've ever seen the film you'll understand why the kids have only heard selections. E.g. The first twenty seconds of track one -- not for kids.
