2007-11-23 9:15 AM thanksgiving went very well, and, in general, as planned. We ate well. I ate one plate, was horribly stuffed (I usually don't eat so much heavy food all at once like that...), and my MIL did 2/3 of the last load of dishes. (I have done so many dishes in the past few days... I cannot tell you...) We also played Guitar Hero (which was entirely too fun, I tell you!) and watched a Jeff Dunham video the Spots brought, and listened to music (like ABBA -- no kidding), ate pah with whipped cream with the cream bought from the dairy (just lovely), and we all had a lovely time. We took some pie to Rice's grandmother who couldn't join us due to physical limitations incident to age.
And now, instead of being a crazy person and going out in the freezing cold and fog and frost, I'm going to drink a mug of miso (oh, this miso is good) and work on my neglected novel. We are thundering along, but we are, not surprisingly, behind. Also, today, I will eat lots of non-starchy veggies. Sort of fed up on the starchy ones. How did that happen??? This aging stuff is weird. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
