Electric Grandmother

I am the new chair of my son's school's grant writing committee.

And it is taking a lot of time. (Which is fine.)

I just spent most of my morning just doing grant busywork stuff. And my brain is fried. And I haven't even written on my novel today.

And I'm not even doing all the work. Everyone on the committee has assignments.

I present to the board on December 5th. (I really, really, really hope everyone has their jobs done by then; I need their information.)

This is another reason for not having a real job -- I'd never get any other writing done.
