2008-02-07 12:53 PM the grandmotherly music My mother's mother was Ojibwe, born in 1904, stood at about 4'9", and weighed about 90 pounds.
For Christmas I once bought her a Bing Crosby tape. I think she listened to it once, but her Milli Vanilli tape? I think she about wore the blasted thing out. She called Milli Vanilli "her boys". We'd get in her cream-colored Jeep and she'd say, "Put in my boys." I never had the heart to tell her the truth about Milli Vanilli. After they lost their Grammy she'd still climb up into her Jeep and put in her boys. About 1 1/2 weeks ago I posted that it looks like the New Kids on the Block are reuniting. Though one of the "front men" for Milli Vanilli has passed away it looks as if they, too, are finally reuniting on the silver screen. Please don't tell me M.C. Hammer is next... By the way, if you miss your Milli Vanilli, there's a greatest hits release. Of course, all of this reuniting gives a girl hope. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
