Rice has things for me to do, the children have things for me to do, I have things for me to do, and friends have some favors they've asked of me that I need to finish soon. I have stuff to do for Avi's school. And I need to write. The writing will keep me sane. And I need to pack. And fill out divorce worksheets. And makes some visits. And...
And three weeks to do it in. It's a stressful thought, but I can do it. I may have to go comatose for a while once I hit California, but I can do it. I have to do it. It's a very sad situation, and I'm trying to look at the positive side of things. It's very scary for me, so I'm trying to look at this as a growing experience, as an adventure. It's a situation that will help me become a better, stronger woman and mother. I've been thinking about Tim Pratt a lot lately, and how he ventured west to Santa Cruz to start his life over. It's a similar pilgrimage, but it's my own. Read/Post Comments (7) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
