Avadore is eight and is a voracious reader.

Tonight he said, "Mama, you should be a science fiction writer. Have you thought of being a science fiction writer?"

"I am a science fiction writer, Avi," I said. I handed him some of my published work. He read the first sentence of each and began offering constructive criticism on how I could improve my writing as a whole.

Then he said, "Mama, I'm just trying to help you with your writing and not make it so hard. I can tell you the hardest part of writing. The hardest part of writing is the idea."

If only he knew... :D.
