Happy 2009
A quiet time last night, hung w/ family and relaxed.

As with any new thing, I am optimistically looking forward to our new year.

It seems weird as it does every Christmas season that when it closes and things get put away I feel kind of sad.
The holidays are usually a blur of family,friends ,presents,decorating and cooking.
Somewhat exhausting, yet no less fulfilling. Onward to the everyday of our lives.
I guess that December has this huge build up to Christmas eve & Christmas. Then in a blink it's done. All the preparation and anticipation...over. It's not depressing but, actually amazing.
