We have 3 grandchildren, 2 boys and a girl. They are 5, 22mos.and 5mos.. I love them and their personalities.

The youngest is at that rolling around stage. He has discovered his voice and hands. He is busy,busy talking to
his fingers and his turtle woobie. Bath time requires the person bathing him to wear a rain coat because splashing
is one of his favs, as is the plastic cup he has at every bath. YGC has toys hanging from his carseat and likes to pull the stuffed car but,gets upset when it flies out of his hand and dings him. The shocked looked he gets is priceless.


The middle is my Princess, mischevious and loud. Blonde and blued eyed. She loves to mimick her brother. We have video of her putting on his t-shirt(inside out & backwards), his tighty whiteys over her diaper, his sneakers. Got her head stuck in the shirt, had both legs in one leg opening of the underwear and then she fell over. Her brother is 5 and so they usually share bathtime.
Before bathing he'll go pee and then get into the tub. Well Princess has been watching her brother and a few
nights ago when it was bath time, Lil Miss says she has to pee. Goes over to the toilet, lifts the seat and stands in front of the toilet. Just as my son inlaw starts to tell her she has to sit on the toilet she pulls on her bellybutton, pulls it out and starts making noises to imply she is peeing..standing up..like her brother..through her bellybutton. Her Dad was laughing his head off.


The oldest is 5 and in pre-k due to his birthday. He has 3 hours of school lessons a day, then play time. He has realized that if he says he's sick he doesn't have to go.
So there has been a cycle of "crying wolf" lately. Today my husband had to talk to him via phone because he wouldn't get out of the truck. My daughter was beside herself and late for work. He wanted to go to his old day care with his sister and play all day. Grandpa finally convinced him to exit the vehicle. He plays soccer and he finally gets the idea which goal is his. Also that it's not hockey and checking other players isn't necessary. The whole time he has this huge smile...it wins me over everytime.

I love to get them sugary,snarky and give them back.
Their Moms and Dads probably want to have a fit, only at our house they're not in charge..lol


Paybacks are a bitch..... woo hoo...I'm loving this Nanny gig.
