OK, for those of you who like this sort of thing, here are some pictures of the baby rats. (Emma took the pictures, I should point out. They're fuzzy like that because she had to shoot through the glass of the aquarium that's functioning as their cage.):


















I suppose they're cute. Even looking at the pictures makes me itch, though.

In other news, I've spent the day alternating between cleaning and grading student papers. As I was walking the dog this afternoon - through our fantastic neighborhood, returning to our fantastic house - it really hit me that I do not particularly want to move, commute or no commute . . .
