So I just pointed my browser at the MSU home page, since I need the email address of a colleague there. Right on the front, there's this blaring bit of news:
Wow. Kermit the Frog. What an auspicious choice for Grand Marshal of the Homecoming Parade. Who says this place has no class? (I'm sure he was chosen because he's green.)
** sigh **
Ah, well. At least we live in Lansing, proper, so MSU's shenanigans are eminently ignorable if we want . . . and of course there are many more advantages to MSU's presence than not, but Kermit the Frog just stopped me in my tracks for a moment, there, and I had to spread the news.
